COMPACT

Setup took longer than I expected the first time, but once I got the hang of the Springbar frame, it went up in about ten minutes. The lower profile really does make it feel rock-solid—we slept through a thunderstorm and barely heard the wind outside.

Took this through two days of sideways rain and gusty coastal wind—the Springbar frame held rock steady while my buddy’s tent next to me looked like it was about to take off. It’s compact for sure, but that lower profile is a blessing when the weather turns ugly.

The lower profile is exactly what I wanted for gusty coastal trips, and the Springbar frame made setting it up feel rock-solid even on uneven ground. Rain hammered us one night and we stayed bone dry, which is all I ask from a tent this compact.
