Bought these as a backup after losing one of mine on a rocky campsite, and the galvanized steel feels properly tough. The 12" length drove in clean even through that packed dirt near the fire ring, and they pulled out without bending. Just wish I'd ordered spares sooner.

The wedge shape grabs the soil way better than the round stakes I used before—no bending even in that packed gravel patch. Galvanized steel feels solid in hand, and the 12" length sank deep enough to hold against a windy night.

Took the 15" ones on a rocky campsite last weekend and they drove in clean with a few solid hammer taps, no bending at all. The galvanized coating held up fine after a full night of wind and rain, and pulling them out in the morning was easier than I expected. These are going to last a long time.
